Gamers looking to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 have a limited-time opportunity to secure the console at one of its lowest prices yet. Amazon-owned retailer Woot is offering the Nintendo Switch 2 for as low as $399 to first-time customers, significantly below the $499.99 price Nintendo has confirmed will take effect beginning September 1.
The deal comes as Nintendo prepares to raise the console’s MSRP due to changing market conditions, making this one of the final chances to purchase the system before the increase.
Woot’s discount makes the Switch 2 considerably cheaper
The promotion combines multiple discounts to reach the $399 price. Customers can first apply the promo code GIFT26, reducing the console’s listed price to $427. New Woot shoppers receive an additional first-time customer discount, bringing the final cost down to $399. Existing customers can still use the promo code but will pay $427, which remains well below the upcoming retail price.
The promotion is limited to one console per customer and is scheduled to end at 11:58 PM CT on July 25, although stock may sell out before then due to continued demand for Nintendo’s latest console.
If new units become unavailable, Woot is also offering a certified refurbished Nintendo Switch 2 bundled with Mario Kart World for $439. The Grade A refurbished package includes original accessories, retail packaging, a 90-day warranty, and the game, offering another discounted option for buyers.
Nintendo’s confirmed price hike adds urgency
Nintendo recently confirmed that the standalone Nintendo Switch 2 will increase from $449.99 to $499.99 starting September 1, citing changes in market conditions. As a result, Woot’s $399 offer effectively represents a $100 savings compared to the upcoming MSRP.
