Nintendo has announced a new maintenance period for Nintendo Switch Online, with temporary service interruptions scheduled for August 18, 2026. According to Nintendo’s official network maintenance page, the maintenance will affect both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 online services.

The maintenance is scheduled to take place from 10:00 PM PT on August 17 to 12:00 AM PT on August 18, which translates to 1:00 AM–3:00 AM ET, 6:00 AM–8:00 AM UK, and 7:00 AM–9:00 AM CEST. During this period, players may encounter interruptions when using Nintendo Switch Online features.

Nintendo has not announced any additional maintenance sessions for the week, making this the only scheduled downtime currently listed.
