Taxi Chaos

Get behind the wheel and get ready for a whole new taxi experience! Drive around town as seasoned taxi driver Vinny or self-proclaimed “influencer” Cleo, and catch the craziest customers! In this title which recalls the legendary Crazy Taxi.

Drive through downtown in one of the many cars, race past parks in an exotic supercar, or drift through the business district in a Japanese tuner taxi. Whichever you choose, your challenge is to deliver your passengers on time! At least if you want to make money. Navigate crowded streets, avoid pedestrians on sidewalks, or even defy the laws of gravity by jumping over rooftops! To successfully master this game, you will need to discover the best shortcuts and get to know New Yellow City (NYC), as well as your passengers at the same time.

This nice title will give fans of the classic a good dose of nostalgia, although very similar Taxi Chaos still manages to surprise, although the game is not of the same caliber as the classic game from Sega. In the end, even if the title does not shine by its originality, simply the fact of exploring and mastering the streets of the huge city is clearly worth the price. The gameplay revolves around finding the best routes to speed up and maximize your fares. The more risks you take, the higher your rewards! The title offers you several ways to test your driving skills in three quite distinct game modes! Enjoy the classic Arcade mode, navigate in Freeroam or go for a real challenge in Pro mode, which is particularly arduous.

The game runs very well on the Nintendo laptop and offers beautiful visuals with a few frame rate drops, but nothing binding. One of the points that is greatly lacking in the game is a soundtrack… frankly said with a little disappointment… I did not expect to hear classics from Bad Religion or The Offspring, but at least something that makes you want to rush through the streets at full speed… but without being bad the electro beat is way too boring… Too bad.

In the end, I strongly recommend it to fans of the genre.  We did have a good amount of fun and I hope that the title will evolve in the coming weeks or months.
