Pokémon Pokopia is preparing to launch another limited-time in-game event, with Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest arriving on July 19, 2026.
The new activity will give players an opportunity to earn exclusive rewards, including special trophies, while introducing both solo and multiplayer challenges across towns and Cloud Island.
The event was announced by Pokémon Pokopia’s official website, continuing the game’s schedule of seasonal activities following its recent Jirachi-themed event.
Zorua’s event lets players compete alone or with friends
To begin the event, players must speak with Zorua, who will be waiting outside the Pokémon Center during the event period. This unlocks the Hide-and-Sneak Tournament, where players race to beat their fastest completion time.
Improving personal records unlocks various rewards, including exclusive trophies. However, the event also emphasizes cooperative play by allowing participants to join tournaments in other players’ towns or gather on Cloud Island.
In multiplayer sessions hosted in a player’s town, every participant contributes toward the town’s best record, although only the host receives event prizes. On Cloud Island, the player who achieves the fastest overall time earns the rewards, creating a competitive leaderboard for everyone participating.
The Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest will remain available until July 27, 2026. Players must update their game to Version 1.1.1 before joining the event.
As Pokémon Pokopia continues expanding its lineup of limited-time activities, the latest contest offers another reason for Nintendo Switch 2 players to return, whether they prefer chasing high scores alone or teaming up with friends for faster times.
