Nindies to watch week 23 – 2019

We are one week away from E3 and while many of us can’t contain the hype before the event starts, let’s just sit back and relax with some great new indie games.

Red Siren: Space Defense

Developer isTom Games brings their shoot’em-up action arcade game Red Siren to the Switch. In this game you have to fight throught the world against tanks, walkers , flying robots, war-planes, a loads of enemies with different arms and missiles

Developer MegaCrit Games fused card games and roguelikes together to make the best single player deckbuilder they could. Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!

Timespinner

Publisher Chucklefish and developer Lunar Ray Games are bringing time travel to the Switch in Timespinner, a story-driven adventure game, inspired by 90s platformers.

Explore a vast, connected world with beautifully drawn and detailed pixel art environments. Traverse between the barren present and luscious past of Lachiem, collecting elemental magic orbs and combining their power to destroy enemies with blades and spells. Befriend mysterious creatures called Familiars,  such as the adorable dream dragon Meyef, and train them to aid you in battle. Test your skills and timing with intense boss battles, and you venture forth to take on the Emperor himself!

Other notable releases are the multiplayer game PICO PARK published by Tecopark and the 8-bit RPG Artifact Adventure Gaiden DX by Room6.
