During 1UP, there was also an award show to commemorate the best games, developers or people in our Belgian gaming industry. This award show was held for the fifth time this year. Presenter Soe Nsuki announced the winners and the big winner of the evening was the game Brukel, a one man project by developer Bob De Schutter. Brukel is a game about world War II and how it affected his grandmother. It is also his grandmother that narrated during the game and talked about life during her childhood and the war. The Lifetime Achievement award was also handed to the founder of Larian Studios, Swen Vincke. You can find a list of all the awards below.
